Ireland’s Premier Meets with Yingke Lawyer

On 25th Nov 2015, partner lawyer of Yingke Law Firm Shenzhen branch Wang Lei was invited as well as represented Yingke (Shenzhen) Law Firm to attend “Ireland-China Chamber of Commerce” and “Association of Chinese Enterprises in Ireland (ACEI)”, which assigned by director of international investment and trade legal committee of Yingke and director of Yingke (Shenzhen) foreign-related legal affairs department Hu Bingmei. The annual gala dinner was hosted at Westbury hotel in Dublin, Ireland. The partner lawyer Wang Lei received a cordial meeting with Premier of Ireland Enda Kenny.

Irish Premier Enda Kenny, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland Xu Jianguo as well as more than 200 representatives of business circles attended the gala dinner. Yingke lawyer Wang Lei delivers a report to Premier Kenny and Ambassador Xu Jianguo that Yingke Law Firm edged out strong competitors to top the rankings in Asia, securing the title of Asia’s largest law firm for the second consecutive year and the recent developments. He also learned from Premier Kenny and Ambassador Xu Jianguo about their outlooks for China-Ireland economic and trade developments, as well as the bilateral investments are being reinforced with China being Irish 9th largest trading partner. During the gala dinner, Mr. Duggan representing “Ireland-China Chamber of Commerce” signed letter of intent with the general manager of ICBC Leasing Mr. Xu.

Ireland has signed the bilateral agreements on taxation with more than 70 countries including China, among which 68 agreements has come into effect. Meanwhile, new agreements and amendment of the agreements are being signed between Ireland and 18 countries.
